Dr John Pardy Goes
Dr John Pardy, arguably the main protagonist in the mobbing of Dr Lynette Downe, has been stood down by Nepean Hospital from his position as head of Women's Health. The reason he was stood down was not disclosed. There had been some questions about how the department had been run and whether proper governance procedures were in place to ensure patient safety. Nepean Hospital is run by the Nepean and Blue Mountains Local Health District.
Dr Mark Tracy, another protagonist in the mobbing of Lyn Downe, left Nepean Hospital to replace the disgraced William Tarnow Mordi as head of the Neonatal Unit at Westmead Hospital. He recently went on long leave and another neonatologist was appointed head of the unit. No reason was given for his stepping down.
